A Fairytale Dream

Welcome to my fairytale dream, where I live in this small but magical tree house, filled with only pretty things, like sparkling fairy lights...

plenty of fashion magazines and shopping boxes

antique furnitures and soft pillows on the bed

where it snows sparkles

for dinner? Macarons of course!

the neighbours? Mermaids

lol, kinda childish but I sure do like to day dream ;)

Just Peachy

I never really follow the fashion trends (too lazy!) so I don't know if nudes are in or not at the moment, but in my opinion, nudes are always chic. These soft delicate shades that is sweet yet feminine has always been one of my favorite colours.

{all from Net-a-porter.com }

I'm travelling back to Bath today after staying at home for 2 weeks, but still haven't packed a single thing! So sorry but I will annouse the winners of the Scarves Giveaway tomorrow, I promise! :)

Chris Evans by Mitchell McCormack

Found this one on the internet. I haven't seen this picture before, so I wanted to share it with you.

Share a Garden Sunday

I just joined "Share a Garden Sunday" hosted by Artie Vanderpool and his blog at Color Outside the Lines. I am so inspired by the many other beautiful gardens I have seen on other blogs. His garden is really beautiful, full of lush green grass and spectacular colorful flowers.

My garden was started decades ago. It has become rather overgrown and overwhelming for me lately but I still try to do as much as I can to make it better. I can always find something to captivate my senses. Here is a picture of a pretty rose that started out by its self as one beautiful aromatic rose... then three more joined in perfect harmony. I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

The Story So Far - A Biography (chapter "fantastic" four)

The Story So Far - A Biography
Chapter "Fantastic" Four

A Storm was coming... Johnny Storm! In 2005 came Chris's big breakthrough when he played Johnny Storm a.k.a. The Human Torch in the movie Fantastic Four. Was it his ultra tight blue Fantastic Four suit or his witty comments? Chris Evans made an impression with his role in the 20th Century Fox's long-awaited adaptation of the Marvel comic.

In Fantastic Four a group of astronauts are changed forever when their spaceship is being hit by a cloud of cosmic radiation. Back home each of the astronauts find out that they develop special superpowers. Reed Richards, played by Ioan Gruffudd, has the ability to stretch his body like elastic, Sue Storm (Jessica Alba) can turn invisible and create force fields.

Her brother Johnny Storm (Chris Evans) becomes The Human Torch can fly and produce fire at supernova temperatures. Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis) changes into The Thing, a man made out of rock and superstrong. Together they form the Fantastic Four. Their enemy: the evil Doctor Doom, played by Julian McMahon.

I remember seeing Chris Evans for the very first time in a movie special about the Fantastic Four on MTV. I do remember, thinking: hmm he's interesting;-) Then later his pictures started to appear all over the internet. That was the time when people really started to notice Chris Evans. I name the photoshoot by Roberto D'Este and the photoshoot for Flaunt Magazine by the infamous Tony Duran. And even today these pictures have the most hits on the internet.

With his looks and hot body Chris landed spots on several magazine countdowns and reached number 18 on E! Television's 2006 101 Sexiest Celebrity Bodies.

In 2007 the cast of Fantastic Four reprised their roles in 4: Rise Of The Silver Surfer.
to be continued...

Michael Jackson :(

The world has lost a great legend... Michael Jackson has collapsed and died at his home in Holmby Hills, CA on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the age of 50 from cardiac arrest. He was rushed to UCLA Medical Center close by where they tried their best to revive him but were not successful.

Michael was just at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Wednesday night rehearsing for his upcoming tour that was to begin in July. He was set for the biggest comeback ever with 50 sold out shows at the O2 arena in London. I'm sure you've all heard the tragic news, listened to his music throughout your life, and seen many of his music videos too. The Michael Jackson Music Video Library by Sony Music highlights his incredibly creative talent. The coverage of his passing has been non stop. It is very shocking and terribly sad.

Michael Jackson, seen below at a rehearsal, had reportedly been taking painkillers for several months as he struggled to get in shape for his comeback performances. Photo courtesy Daily News article "Desperate Michael Jackson 911 caller pleaded: 'a gentleman here that needs help, he's not breathing'" by Nancy Dillon in Los Angeles and Rich Schapiro and Corky Siemaszko in New York Daily News Staff Writers Updated Friday, June 26th 2009, 1:41 PM

While it is certainly not important in light of his life... I thought you might be interested in seeing some video and pics of the home he was renting home up in Holmby Hills since the main focus of my blog is Interior Design. I also found a video about the Michael Jackson Auction, which ultimately did not occur. All the videos shown are courtesy of You Tube. Elements of Style has also posted a fabulous tribute and Fashion Homage to Michael Jackson on her blog.

Michael Jackson's $100,000 A Month Rental was mentioned in Luxist by Deidre Woolard on December 23, 2008.
You can read the brief article by clicking on the title above. To highlight the important parts... "Michael Jackson's been laying low in recent years but that may be about to change. TMZ reports that Jackson has leased himself a huge spectacle of a house in one of the most exclusive areas of Los Angeles, Holmby Hills. It is said that Jackson is paying an astounding $100,000 a month for the chateau style seven-bedroom home which was recently on the market for $38 million. The three-story Richard Landry designed home was built in 2002 and includes a library, theater room and wine cellar. There is also a pool and a guest house on the property.... "

Michael Jackson's New Crib reported by TMZ on December 22, 2008
"He's been teetering on the financial brink for years, yet we've learned somehow Michael Jackson has rented a home in one of the most exclusive areas of L.A. for a whopping $100,000 a month. The $38 million Holmby Hills pad has seven bedrooms, 13 baths, 12 fireplaces, a screening room and, of course, a cellar... For sleepovers, there's a guest house, swimming pool and garden. The deal was inked several weeks ago under a heavy-duty confidentiality agreement. Michael already has stayed there."

The Bel-Air Association blog posted the following beautiful photos.

Here are two videos about the Michael Jackson Auction which did not occur after all. However, I Think The Prices Just Went Up... a post on the blog Homer's Odd Isn't He is worth seeing. I bet they have it eventually.

Michael Jackson will be missed by many family, friends and fans but his music will live on forever.
