The VOODOO LOVECATS originally formed back in 1994, threw out a few demos, smashed a few stages, then launched their debut CD Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things (Horror Show Records) in 1997. The band followed up with a split CD El Noche De El Siniestro Vudu (Horror Show Records) in 1998 and toured extensively (supporting international bands like The Misfits in '97, Suicidal Tendencies, Face to Face...) around Australia. A few lineup changes in 1998 caused the band to take a "break", which turned into a longer-than-expected hiatus. Sicboy (vocals), Ruin (lead guitar), and Creep (drums) have rehearsed and are working towards recording some classic VLC tunes (that never made it into the studio) for their fans...

This cd-ep from Aussie punks VOODOO LOVECATS didn't sound the way I expected. I've been following this band for the last couple of years, I really liked their previous demos "Desperate + Dateless" and "Punk & Disorder". VOODOO LOVECATS represented great glampunk with an outrageous glamimage. When I saw the new photo of the band I realized that something had changed, VOODOO LOVECATS still looked outrageous but more punk than glam. When I listened to the promotape of "Children shouldn't play with dead things" I heard that the music had followed the same path, towards punk with touches of industry. I usually hate this kind of progression but VOODOO LOVECATS still are a great band and their new songs is actually better than their old eventhough the genre is less appealing, to these ears.

"Dance of the fishhogs" is a suitable intro, with some bombastic guitars! The following two songs "That's what I believe" and "Killed her in St. Kilda", is actually close to the sound of their glampunk days. Great sing-along melodies served with the raw energy of punk.

"Give it to me", "Stop the rot" and "Knife or gun" are more classic punk, similiar to SEX PISTOLS and others. The ep also contains two bonustracks

Throughout the years the band's line-up constantly revolved and after the release of their fourth studio album, Viva Las Violence, singer Wednesday 13 (At the time the sole remaining original member) folded the group to participate in The Murderdolls.

The Murderdolls would use many Frankenstein Drag Queens songs on the their album; Beyond The Valley of the Murderdolls.

After The Murderdolls went on hiatus, Wednesday 13 put out a new song called "Your Mother Sucks Cocks In Hell" on a compilation album for Metal Sludge. He would then release a greatest hits album under the name "Wednesday 13's Frankenstein Drag Queens", featuring a few new songs. The frontman then decided to put the band to rest and began to record under the Wednesday 13 name.

Shortly after this, 13 and his former band mates in The Graveyard Boulevard patched up old feuds and decided to bring the Frankenstein Drag Queens back, as a part time project. They official reunited on stage in Greensboro, NC. on August 20th 2005. The line-up featured Wednesday 13, Abby Normal and Sicko Zero.

A 10th anniversary box-set, which has been titled "Little Box Of Horrors", was released on the 9th of May(US) and the 29th of May(Europe). The box-set features almost every song the band has ever recorded, with alternate versions of many songs, a DVD which features footage from a 1998 concert, and special artwork. The US and Europe versions of the box-set vary greatly, however. The Europe version will feature different artwork, will be limited to 2666 copies, and will come with a keychain, poster, and exclusive Frankenstein Drag Queens 26-page booklet.

A creepy addition to and even creepier band. This spinal chord strummer has a love for fire-arms and always has his sights set on his target audience. The devil may have rejected him but TDQM has welcomed this shredding legend with open gun-fire.



Fangz - Crypt Riffs
He’s the crypt riffing, glue sniffing necrophiliac that loves to skate, hate and masturbate all at the same time. This guitarist really does suck, but he says it’s the only way to drain blood these days. He’s only been with us a short time but we get on like bats of a feather.



Giblets - Bass Rape
This ghoul is tall, dark and creepy. He doesn’t say much but he’s the silent type that always turns out to be the killer in the teen slasher movies. Not only does he provide the band with his bass rape capabilities but he also makes a great alcohol disposal unit.



Needles - Dead Beats
He's the hard hitting, tabacco spitting dead beat extraordinaire. This ghoul is the life and death of the party. He'll leave you hanging and dying for more. The latest member to join the TDQM freak show and he's definately here to slay.

With their mixture of tongue in cheek lyrics, rocking riffs and horrifying, blood-soaked stage shows, TDQM have captured the hearts (literally) of millions of fans worldwide.

These make-up smothered, tattoo covered freaks of the family have proven themselves time and time again to be determined and hard-working souls, selling their second album “His And Hearse” to fourteen different countries, appearing on Californian radio, having over a million visits on their website and over 46,000 listens on their myspace profile. TDQM have also toured the UK and played with bands such as Trash Light Vision, Wednesday 13, Zombina And The Skeletones and goth punk legends The Damned.

Their stage show features a six foot long coffin, body parts of all shapes and sizes and more blood than the local Red Cross. These ghouls sure know how to put on one hell of a show and aren't shy about meeting their many fans. This ghoulish mob will take you on an amazing journey with hints of Alice Cooper, Wednesday 13, Marilyn Manson and The Misfits, all in the back of a long, black hearse.

"Maniac Spider Trash" was created around 1993. Although there were occasional line-up changes, the core members were Wednesday 13, Abby Normal, Sicko Zero and Michael Patrick (R.I.P.). In 1994, MST entered the studio for the first time and released a 6-song cassette called, "Dumpster Mummies". The band gained a large fan-base and quickly began to pack local clubs. Even in those early days, the shows were filled with twisted elements and the music was dark and hard hitting.

In 1995, Maniac Spider Trash entered the studio again to record a full length CD called, "Murder Happy Fairytales". Although the CD was packed full of great songs, "Murder Happy Fairytales" was an ill-fated venture that would never see an official release. Shortly after it's recording, Maniac Spider Trash disbanded when Wednesday 13 and Sicko Zero formed "The Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13".

Maniac Spider Trash fue una banda de glam-metal que existió desde 1992 hasta 1996 en Carolina del Norte. Sus canciones estaban enfocadas en temas relacionados con la muerte.
