N.Y.C.'s Bloodiest band and the Bastard Sons of The King hisself, PSYCHO CHARGER, deliver an Ultra-Horrific death-march thru the rotting R'n'R graveyard that's been described as "Horror Rawkillbilly"!!! Digging up influences from psychobilly, industrial, punk, surf, and gothic, these N.Y.C. psycho-rockers provide a horror-influenced, mutant cross-bred psycho-industrial-rawk assault that kicks and flails like a pissed-off two-headed bastard child at a family reunion!!! This is truly evil heavy-twang hell rock from the righteous side of the Devil's trailer park!!!

Founded a few years back in the sin city section of N.Y.C., PSYCHO CHARGER quickly obtained a firm foothold in the NYC music scene by playing a regular string of live shows, most notably the "Grave Rockers" and "Gothabilly" showcases. With each show, the band witnessed show attendance increase due in equal parts to their unique mutant cross-bred sound and "Horror-themed" live shows consisting of "Skeleton Men", "Ghost Warrior", and "The Blood Feast Show"! Notoriety of the band increased when some shows resulted in visits by the NYPD and/or the NYFD Fire Marshall!!!

Shortly after their arrival, PSYCHO CHARGER hooked up with the NYC-based Skully Records for the release of their debut CD, which included 16 tracks. The CD was released in August 2001 and did very well for the band, earning it favorable reviews in numerous magazines, as well as air play on radio stations scattered across the country and abroad. As a result, PSYCHO CHARGER established a fan base that ranges from rockabilly hellcats to punk rockers to the gothic/industrial/techno types. Sadly, the events of 9/11 came about, causing the record label to leave NYC, and eventually shut down, leaving the band without label support, and the CD became unavailable.

Fast forward to 2004, where the band began working with the Denver-based Antidote Records label to release their second full-length CD titled Horror Rawkillbilly!!!, which included thirteen all-new songs and found the band continuing on, and expanding on their unique sound. As it turns out, a string of internal troubles with the label eventually led to PSYCHO CHARGER and Antidote to part ways, and this CD also became unavailable.

Throughout these two label experiences, the band managed to retain all the rights and publishing to their music and released Curse of the Psycho on their very own Rot 'N' Roll Army Records. Weighing in at a full 20 tracks in length, Curse contains songs from their first two CDs as well as one brand new one. The CD is currently available in a special "Limited edition" LP Style packaging that includes a "vinyl look" CD and jacket art by Unkle Pigors from Toxic Toons (Metallica, Murderdolls, Genitorterers). Curse of the Psycho has done very well for the band as it was named "Best Horror Rock CD of the Year" by Virus Magazine, and landed the band a feature in Rue Morgue Magazine and Drop Dead Magazine. Since it's release, Curse of the Psycho has sold thousands of copies worldwide via shows, online sales, downloads, and many hours of hard work from the band.

PSYCHO CHARGER is a very hard-working band, who have played over 100 shows a year since 2004. This string of live shows has led to some pretty interesting circumstances for the band ranging from the ill-fated impromptu gig on the rooftop of CBGBs, being denied access to Canada, and touring with a live goat in the van.

The Hell Caminos are a Psychobilly hailing from Honolulu, HI. Their debut CD "Through the Day And Through the Night" shows their extreme versatility. Easily moving from rockabilly into punk into swing, these three cats show you what it's like living on sleep-deprivation, caffeine, and women. Consisting of Michael Camino (upright bass), Nick Danger (guitar), and Handsome Jack (skins), they bring you into their world, full of voodoo roads, slinky dames, and cheap honkytonks.

The lyrics are astounding. Imaginative, Profound, Dark, all abound with the words these 3 guys use to convey their message. All 3 members sing, and each has a distinct vocal skill and style, which naturally fits the songs they choose. Their final song "Hell Caminos" adequately sum up what the scene is like in Honolulu.

Best known for their manic live shows, they embrace showmanship like no other. Their madness will burn a hole in the stage and a hole through your heart.

The Van Ordsels are a psychobilly band based in Miami, Florida, USA. The band formed in 2003. They have the distinction of being the first psychobilly band in south Florida. They helped introduce and expose the genre to the south Florida music scene. With their unique blend of psychobilly, punk rock, surf music and heavy metal,combined with elements from old B-horror and sci-fi movies, and images of monsters, zombies and creatures from beyond, they have managed to create a sound all their own.

In 2002, founding member and vocalist George Graquitena was in the process of organizing a show, a one-off Misfits tribute band, to play a Halloween show in October 2002. He eventually met up with guitarist Todd Von Wankenstein and drummer David Carbonell. Along with a friend, Brian, who was the bassist for a local Miami band named Underpaid, they formed The Braineaters, a Misfits tribute band that played on October 28, 2002. After the show was done, George, Todd and David decided they wanted to continue playing together, but they wanted to do something original. George had already been hoping to start a psychobilly band, so the members decided that would be a good idea. They all had shared interest in the genre, as well as a love for horror movies. George and Todd eventually decided on a name for the band after kicking around a few ideas. They decided to name the band The Van Orsdels, and they also decided to adopt the last name of Van Orsdel, in tribute to The Ramones, and also as a sign of unity within the band. They then began their search for an upright bassist, which would prove to be hard. The genre was non-existent in the south Florida area, and musicians who were willing to play psychobilly were just as non-existent. Eventually they found bassist Bruno Esposito. The band was now complete and they immediately began writing songs and preparing for their first show.

In 2007, The Van Orsdels saw a major face-lift in the form of new members. Patrick LeJeune joined the band as the new guitarist in early 2007. Patrick (aka The Abominable Dr. Butch Van Orsdel) had previously been a member of a South Florida surf instrumental band called The Cavefish. He joined The Van Orsdels in early 2007. Original drummer David Carbonell re-joined the band in early 2007 as well, after drummer Richard Robinson decided to take a break from the band to focus on his personal life. The band released an EP titled "Leftovers" in October of 2007. The cd contained a collection of previously unreleased tracks and demos, as well as some acoustic songs. October also saw the return of Richard Robinson on drums. March 2008 saw the inclusion of Steve Satch (aka Steve "The Bruiser" Van Orsdel) on upright bass. With this new line-up the band has begun work on new material which will be included on their upcoming full-length CD release. The band will also be recording a version of "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch" for an upcoming psychobilly Christmas compilation album which will be released on Cleopatra Records in December of 2008.

The Guana Batz were part of a British wave of psychobilly that sprang up in the early '80s, around the same time that bands like the Cramps were gaining underground prominence in America, and more straightforward rockabilly revivalists like the Stray Cats and the Polecats were hitting the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. The group was formed in the English town of Feltham, in Middlesex, in 1982, with a lineup featuring vocalist Pip Hancox, guitarist Stuart Osbourne, bassist Mick White (also of the similar Meteors), and drummer Dave Turner; White, an electric bassist, was soon replaced by stand-up acoustic player Sam Sardi. Playing hopped-up rockabilly with the speed and aggression of punk rock, the Guana Batz fit nicely into the British psychobilly scene epitomized by the Meteors, the Stingrays, and other bands who played at the good-naturedly rough Klub Foot in London. As such, the Batz landed a deal relatively quickly, releasing their debut EP, You're So Fine, on Big Beat Records by the end of 1983. An appearance on the Stompin' at the Klub Foot compilation netted them a better deal with ABC/ID, which released their full-length debut, Held Down...At Last! (aka Held Down to Vinyl...At Last!), in 1985, which shot straight to the top of the UK's independent charts. A follow-up, Loan Sharks, appeared a year later, and proved an even bigger underground hit (at least in the U.K.) than its predecessor. Live over London (recorded at the Klub Foot) followed in 1987, and Rough Edges continued the group's annual release schedule in 1988. Following that album, drummer Turner was replaced by Jonny Bowler, who debuted ..ra Glide in Blue (recorded for new label World Service). While the band continued to tour the U.K. and Europe (with new bassist Mark Pennington), their initial recording career ended there, and they disbanded during the '90s. Hancox and Bowler both moved to California, where they settled and started families. The Guana Batz reunited in late 1996, however, and recorded their most recent self penned album, Powder Keg followed by the all-covers album Undercover the following year. The compilation Can't Take the Pressure was released in 2000, with a competing best-of, The Very Best of the Guana Batz, appearing in 2001.The band continues to headline major festivals around the world with their always energetic and entertaining live shows and have most recently began to build their US following with their stateside line up featuring Gino Meregillano on guitar and Alex Pappas on drums.A new album is in the works and the band continue to prove their status as a major force in the recent second wave of the high energy,fun psychobilly scene that continues to grow.

THE SILVER SHINE formed in Budapest on the summer of 2004 with the main goal to take some pleasing minutes / hours / years for the fans of psychobilly, punk and rockabilly music. All the members had experience in active bands before they formed The Silver Shine. The final line-up is: Krtista Kat - double bass, Ati Edge - guitar/vocals, Rolee Shine - drums.

They recorded their first EP in February 2005 and it came out as 7" on COMMITMENT RECORDS in The Netherlands during the summer of 2005. The debut EP contains 6 songs and it shows you the punk side of the band. After a couple of bigger shows the band went to studio in November 2005 to record their first full-length. Their first full-length album titled "NIGHTMARE" came out on CD by the German label called CRAZY LOVE RECORDS. This album includes 14 songs and follows the psychobilly path including punkabilly roots. The gigs / gig-invitations multiplied after their debut album and the band went to stage with bands like MAD SIN, The METEORS, REZUREX, KLINGONZ, PEACOCKS, PHANTOM ROCKERS, DEADLINE, etc. in Hungary and in the abroad. The first European-tour of The Silver Shine had happened in the September of 2006 as "Nightmare Tour" and the guys showed the Hungarian derring-do in Spain, France and Germany. The welcome of the band was very good and they have got very good criticism everywhere.

After this tour their first double bassist changed to Frenk Set and after some hard months in rehearsal room the band recorded their second full-length album. It came out also by the meanest psychobilly label named CRAZY LOVE RECORDS on CD and LP titled "DON'T TRUST THE GIRL WITH THE CHAINSAW". The record contains 15 songs, a Hungarian language cover song among other tunes and a wild psychobilly version of "MERCY" originally written by the famous American duo called COLLINS KIDS from the fifties.

After the studio recordings the band went to a west-bound tour again and they made it in Czech Republic, Germany and The Netherlands. In the May of 2007 The Silver Shine was the first outlandish band in the mother country of the legend Count Drakula to show to the Romanian ghouls what the hell is the psychobilly. Since then they played with The PEACOCKS in Austria, with MAD SIN again in Zalaegerszeg, etc. In October, 2007 Set left the band and Krista Kat joined the band as double bassist. A female double bassist first time in the history of the band. She's got power more than enough to punch you in the face with her slap attack! We've got a couple of shows with her in Austria, Italy, we played at Moonlight Mayhem Festival in Prague and a couple of shows have confirmed already for 2008.

.....so keep your eyes open! THE SILVER SHINE is coming.......
