Springtime Lovelies

It was absolutely beautiful here today! Sun shining, temperatures in the 70s, it finally felt like spring! Unfortunately, I have been cooped up inside for the past few days, fighting a cold (my first of the year, which decides to wait until it's nice outside to appear). Since I was not able to enjoy the weather, these bright, spring-y images will have to tide me over.
Love the varying shades and sizes of these bottles
How pretty would these be as centerpieces?
These cherry blossoms are actually made with tissue paper, so the "blooms" will stay fresh all spring long!
to make: layer a sheet of dark pink paper atop light pink paper. cut out a five-petal flower that's 2 to 4 inches in circumference. once cut, reposition the dark pink daisy so the petals won't align with the light pink ones. twist the center bottom of the flower, wrap with a 3-inch length of floral wire, and hot-glue onto a bare branch. repeat, varying sizes of flowers.

Mini pomanders of green mums look great gathered in a rustic, wooden bowl.
I'm a sucker for an airy, white room and the branches sitting prettily atop the side table.
Patterned pillows and pink flowers add just the right amount of cheerful color.
Green is my favorite color & this hue works wonderfully to brighten the kitchen.

The perfect warm weather spot for a gathering with friends.
~hope you are enjoying the same gorgeous weather wherever you may be~
